Terms & Conditions of attendance at Musical Bumps classes in Sevenoaks, Tonbridge & Hildenborough. Most recent update September 2023.
GENERAL:
Hygiene and infection control: Nappies must be changed outside the classroom, and disposed of at home unless the venue provides a suitable bin.
Toys from home: With the exception of a comforter or similar small single toy, please do not bring toys from home as it can cause difficulties for other children in the class. All resources needed for the class are provided.
Food: Snacks must not be given in the classroom; if your child really needs to eat during the 40 minute class please take them out of the room until they have finished.
Siblings/twins enrolled in the same class: Please ask the office to apply a discount to your booking before making payment. Babies: The exception is newborn baby siblings; there is no fee payable until they are sitting up and/or using our resources after which they need to be enrolled in the class, and the reduced sibling discount rate applies.
Siblings visiting classes: One older sibling is welcome to join a younger sibling's class if they have an ad hoc inset or extra school holiday. Please let us know if possible, and you must contact us in advance if you are bringing more than one extra child. If your child is off school or nursery because they are unwell, or isolating you must not bring them to Musical Bumps classes.
Extra adults visiting classes: An additional visiting adult can come to classes and you do not need to let us know in advance.
Missed classes: It is usually possible to attend a session on a different day if you need to miss a class. However this cannot be guaranteed and you must arrange with the office in advance. It is also an option to 'Send a Friend' in your place - for health & Safety and communication reasons we need to know in advance. Recorded classes can be provided for you to use at home. No refunds are given for classes missed.
Cancelled classes: If there is enforced closure beyond our control (for any reason, including infectious disease) no refunds or credit can be given. In this situation we will endevour to transfer the timetable to zoom and will additionally provide class recordings..
Notice period: If you wish to discontinue classes during a term, a 3 week notice period and £5 administration fee applies.
Teachers: Please note we can’t always guarantee which teacher will be working on each day.

COVID PANDEMIC:
Please note it is the parent/carers responsibility to follow all Government guidelines in respect of the Covid-19 pandemic and to be aware of updates and changes which may affect attendance at classes. Attendance at classes is at your own risk and your child must remain under your close supervision at all times.
Covid restrictions: If local or national restrictions change, or any other government advice is updated that means we have to suspend venue classes, we will transfer live classes to zoom.
