The church is set back from the north end of th …moree High Street near the Ivy House junction opposite Tonbridge School, accessed from a pedestrianised area which can be reached by foot either from the High Street, the Kinnings Row adjacent car park or via Church STREET (not Church Lane).
There is an adjacent pay & display car park accessed from Kinnings Row off Bordyke TN9 1NP. There are also a few free parking bays on Church Street accessed from East Street. Alternatively especially if you are also going to the park or swimming pool, The Castle Pay & Display is about 5 minutes walk – drive in via Castle Street and walk back along Bank Street. Please don’t use the private church car park. On foot from the High Street, turn into Church Lane by the Tonbridge Dental Practice. A step up!
The structure changes with more opportunities to move to the beat and dance - as well as a topic section where the children are gently encouraged move away from their adults to sit with the teacher (this paused during covid).
Learning is of course through play! We start to introduce playful visual cues and there's a definite sense of moving away from baby & toddler activities while building on songs and rhymes already learned in younger classes.
Puppets, props and interesting instruments are an integral part of every session and are used to encourage children to join in, sing, and enjoy special shared time!
