Our Baby sessions are specifically aimed at pre-mobile babies – once they are more active we move them up to the next stage – which we find makes it far easier for new mums to relax with their tiny babies! Although the class has a gentle structure, it is absolutely baby-led and so sleeping, noisy and hungry babies are all welcome. Feeding during class is absolutely fine of course and we encourage mums to feel comfortable about walking around the room if they need to settle their baby. Sometimes a very new baby might sleep all the way through the class – but much of what we do is to give you ideas for activities to share at home with your baby and it won’t be long before they are very alert throughout a class, watching, listening and taking in everything that goes on around them. There are age progressive classes right the way up to school starting and beyond – by that time we have the children reading simple music and confident to sing alone, a few years off yet!
